Crochet Shiny Eevee

Someone expressed interest in a Shiny Eevee, and their mention of it made we want to go ahead and try to develop one for kicks. That is the story of how Darwin (Eevolutions--> Evolution---> Darwin....tee hee, get it?) came to be. I consider him a "prototype," as I do with just about everything I make for the first time (I think I am becoming a perfectionist o_O).

Darwin is roughly 18 inches long, and has a fluffy mane assembled with yarn that was brushed mercilessly until the fibers did what I desired. Honestly, that was the only time consuming part on him. The great thing about this was that I had already made a Jolteon, and the body types really aren't that far off; ergo, I didn't have to beat my head in over anything other than the mane and tail. While I made him to lay down on a bed, he is capable of sitting up a little, which I think adds to his adorableness.
