Archie the Arcanine

I have been away for a while nursing my throbbing wrists during the school break. I intended to only be out for a few days, but as they passed, I decided that my hands needed all the rest they could get. I have been tackling the post-holiday commission list very slowly, treating it more like the hobby it used to be, rather than an urgent objective that needs to be completed in order to obtain ramen or contact lenses. I am enjoying this tone to the plush-making, but I need to move at my usual speed come next week.

This is another Arcanine. Notice anything different? This one was done to appease those of us with fewer dollars to spare than most. He is 7 inches tall and about 9 inches long. Richard calls him "Archie," so I guess Archie is what he shall remain. I really enjoyed doing this style; I managed to punch it out quickly and the compact size gave me the chance to perfect the mane. I like it so much and it was easy enough that I may put a few in the shop once I get the time to make some more.
